The Torbay Airshow will go ahead on the 1st and 2nd June 2019 thanks to a host of local and national businesses stepping up to support the hugely popular event.

During 2018 there were concerns that the Torbay Airshow may not go ahead due to a lack of funding.

This year has seen the business community come forward to support the Torbay Airshow, recognising the airshow’s importance in positioning Torbay as a tourist destination and its impact on the local economy.

A new headline sponsor

The 2019 Torbay Airshow Headline sponsor is Newcross Healthcare who are providers of highly trained staff and clinical services to those in need of care. Its dedicated workforce of healthcare professionals deliver a broad range of services in a diverse range of environments.

These environments include hospitals and hospices as well as clinics, schools and people’s homes, nationwide.

The airshow brings great benefit to local businesses and we’re now in an excellent position to forge meaningful long-term partnerships with brands and organisations we feel tie in with our values.”

Key airshow for the UK

In total, the Torbay Airshow brings 165,000 people into the Bay each year. The event is hugely popular with both locals and tourists alike and is now firmly established as one of the key Airshows in the UK.
