TDA, working with Deyton Bell Associates, have begun the process of consulting with wider stakeholders and businesses as part of the development process of a new Torbay Economic Strategy, 2022–2030. This strategy is being developed on behalf of Torbay Council.
This initial consultation stage will gather views from Torbay businesses and key stakeholders across all sectors, to help shape and set the framework for developing Torbay’s economy.
TDA would like to hear from organisations of all sizes, so if you are part of a business operating in Torbay, please don’t miss your chance to have your say by completing the survey. TDA will be contacting organisations for one-to-one meetings and are also looking for opportunities to attend pre-arranged, relevant business and sector group meetings to gather views.
Councillor Swithin Long, Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration, Tourism and Housing said: “We are keen to hear from as many organisations as possible. If you are a business in Torbay, please take the time to complete the online survey. The Torbay Economic Strategy is a key document to help to shape the future of the area, especially as we move forward beyond the pandemic. This is a chance for businesses of Torbay to be included in the consultation and to be involved in the new strategy and its associated action plan.”
Torbay Council will be launching a full public consultation on 24th May via their website. For more information, please contact [email protected] or [email protected] at TDA.
