Torbay Apprenticeships Fair returns for 2020

This Wednesday checkout the Torbay Apprenticeships Fair, which is boasting over 300 live vacancies, guaranteed to better your career.

The Torbay Apprenticeship Fair is a completely freee event and will take place at the Riviera International Conference Centre on between 09:30 – 13:00.

Employers, Training and anyone looking to learn more about apprenticeships are encouraged to attend this event.

Cavanna Homes, Gooch and Housego, Lackfords Debt Recovery, Midas Construction, Re4orm, and the Richardson Hotel, to name a few will all be on hand at this event.

Councillor Within Long, Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration, Tourism and Housing said:

Apprenticeships offer a great way for our business community to grow; bringing in new skills or developing existing staff skills can yield dividend to a company’s bottom line. It’s also a great way for people in or out of work to develop their skills and their career. TDA is working with local partners to deliver this campaign during National Apprenticeship Week 2020. Our aim is to bring communities, employers and training providers together.”

“During National Apprenticeship Week 2019 we reached over 1,000 people and in 2020 we will deliver a range of activities to engage with schools and businesses. By providing a new Employer Toolkit we are looking to engage with more businesses during National Apprenticeship Week.”

Across the social media world you can expect to see the ‘Look Beyond’ and ‘Fire it Up’ Social Media campaigns which will be promoting local businesses and Torbay apprentices, giving them exposure and promoting the benefits and sharing inspiring stories.

As part of Apprenticeship Week, this months Torbay Business Forum Breakfast meeting will be taken over by Apprenticeships from across South Devon.
