Ageing Well in Brixham, Paignton and Torquay – Programme Manager £35,000, full time, permanent
Torbay’s Ageing Well Partnership has been awarded £6 million from the Big Lottery Fund for a six year programme to reduce social isolation experienced by people over 50. We want to reach every front door, building a sustainable neighbourhood network, valuing the contributions that people over 50 have to make to each other and the wider community, stimulating new activities and ensuring people know what is available and can participate. We also want to focus on raising personal aspirations and redesigning services with older people and celebrate the contributions made with a bi-annual festival and ongoing marketing.
Torbay Community Development Trust is the lead organization and is recruiting on behalf of the partnership.
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager, to help lead this exciting initiative, support the development of the detailed projects, ensure older people are involved in all aspects and co-ordinate a wide range of stakeholders. This is a test and learn project, so innovation and evaluation are key.
Please contact Simon Sherbersky, Lead Officer on 07766 025487 for an informal discussion
and submit an application form demonstrating why you would like the job and what you could bring to it.
