Playing in the streets this February Half Term

This February half term, residents and visitors are invited to come along to Playing in the Streets, a series of events aimed at welcoming people back to our high streets.

Three events will be taking place packed with free fun and entertainment for all of the family. Participants will be able to pick up a trail sheet from the welcome tent and complete a street treasure hunt, whilst taking part in some fun games and activities along the way. 

Activities will include circus skills, art and drama workshops, DJ’ing opportunities, history tours, music and storytelling. 

Dates are as follows and each event will run 11-3pm –

Town Square and Fore Street, Brixham: Thursday 24th February

Lower Union Street, Torquay : Friday 25th February 

Victoria Street, Paignton : Saturday 26th February

Please be aware that we will be setting up from 9am and the road closure along each road mentioned above will remain in place until 5pm. Access will be available for emergency vehicles at all times however please note deliveries will not be able to get through between 9-5pm.
