Wellbeing Pharmacy has been announced as the pharmacy for the new Dartmouth Health and Wellbeing Centre.
Wellbeing Pharmacy, who already have two pharmacies in Devon at Bishopsteignton and Exmouth, will run the pharmacy from the health and wellbeing centre when it opens later this year.
A spokesperson for Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust said “This is great news that Wellbeing Pharmacy who already have experience of running pharmacies in south Devon will be providing pharmacy services from the health and wellbeing centre. This will mean local people will be able to not only see health professionals in one place but they will also be able to pick up their prescription and benefit from the range of services the pharmacy will provide.”

The new centre which is planned to open later this year will bring health and wellbeing services under one roof, for the benefit of the people of Dartmouth and surrounding areas. The purpose-designed centre will give local GPs the facilities they need to support the service into the future, and enable close working relationships and joined up care services with community nurses, therapists, Dartmouth Caring and the pharmacy.
