Don’t fancy drinking this festive period? No problem at all, we’ve got 3 festive drinks that you can enjoy without having to worry about a hangover.

Go Fruity

Mulled Apple Juice

What you will need

  • 1 litre of apple juice
  • Strips of orange and lemon peel
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • Pinch of grated ginger
  • Pinch of grated nutmeg
  • Honey to taste

Put it all in a saucepan and slowly mull over a low to moderate heat for 15 minutes.

Grab your favourite Christmas mug add the honey to taste and enjoy.

Orange and Mango Fizz

Fancy something with bubbles? Try your hand at a glass of orange and mango fizz:

What you will need:

  • 500ml of fresh orange juice
  • 500ml of fresh mango juice (or swap for another preference)
  • Sparkling elderflower juice (top top it up)

Simple enough, fill up a champagne flute with all the liquids listed, leaving the sparkling elderflower right until the end.

Minty Choc Hot Chocolate 

After Eights? Who needs them, try this delicious hot chocolate with plenty of mint flavour on for size.

What you will need

  • 200ml of whole milk
  • 1 table spoon of icing sugar
  • 40g of After Eight Mints or alternative
  • 5 mint leaves (torn up, make sure they are not too small)

Combine the milk and the icing together in a saucepan and gentle warm, constantly stirring.

Add the chocolate and leaves, ensure you have removed the pan from the heat.

Stir until the chocolate has melted before returning it to the heat, slowly warming and stirring the mixture.

Grab a cup, remove the mint leaves and serve.
