Torquay Town Centre, like a lot of many sea side town centres has been the source of some debate, condemnation and celebration.
Whether you’re a local or a tourist, at some point you’re going to make that trip into the town centres of Torquay, Paignton and/or Brixham.
The ultimate question is how do you feel when you enter and when you leave those town centres?
A few years ago, a lot of the traders will remember the BID (Business Improvement District) and a joint tourism and retail BID was thrown out by the traders.
So where does that leave Torquay town centre?
How can we best solve some of the many issues that affect the town centre on a daily weekly or monthly basis?
If  you’re Interested in how your town centre is doing and would like to have your say on how you see the town centre developing then this is your opportunity.
Introducing Torquay’s, Town Centre Partnership
Around once per month a meeting is held called the Town Centre Partnership.
We discuss anything from the regeneration of the Torquay town centre and how to try to tackle any one of our many problems.
Many business owners, council workers, people from the local press, the police and local residents attend to have their say and discuss any improvements or otherwise.

The next meeting
The next meeting held of the Town Centre Partnership will be at 8.30am on the 8th June at endeavour house in Torre. This isn’t the usual meeting place do please stay up to date for future meetings.
